Falling through the Floor

This exercise is one of my kids favorites! Basically, you trick your mind into feeling like your body is falling through the floor!

My bothers and I learned it somewhere and it stuck, we loved it. It is super simple: one person lays down, with their arms out, and the parent or friend picks up their arms off the ground and holds there for around 30 seconds. Be sure to have them relax their shoulders / neck. Then slowly drop them down. Their head will touch the ground softly, but the arms feel like they are floating in space.

I was thinking of making a video, but did a quick search and found one. Well maybe someday I’ll make a video, but time is precious and these guys are having fun and it shows exactly what to do.

For me this is about triggering a feeling I call “the chills”, it helps move throught from the mind and into the heart. I’ve got a lot to say on that subject, so please stay tuned.
